The yellow rose is my favourite. Yellow is a positive colour that brings out the softness of the flower and its many subtle contrasts.

Another favourite. The astrantia is nature's equivalent of glass of champagne. A coupe style glass filled with bubbles in flowery form.

The poppy. Its delicate petals contain a forest of stamens encircling a seed pod with its velvet star. Pure bee porn.

Not a bee, as it happens, but a species of fly. But, like the bee, attracted to those sweet stamens. Nature's pollenation right there in front of your very eyes.
